A collaboration with Mother Nature.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have both painting and photography as creative passions. When I find myself uninspired to paint, I can step outside and immerse myself in the ocean or seek out wildlife to photograph. Each practice fuels the other, and having both allows creativity to stay in motion—there’s always something sparking, always something alive.
I’m equally grateful that my work has taken me to remarkable places around the world, including Africa, French Polynesia, Alaska, and Yellowstone, among many others. Along the way, I’ve had unforgettable wildlife encounters and formed meaningful friendships that continue to shape both my art and my life.
If you make it into the gallery, I’d be happy to share some of these stories with you.
See you soon,
John
